How to Play

Before the Match

Bet & Go tournaments will be available for major sporting events – like soccer in Qatar right now! Each match will have the buy-in discounted according to the odds teams are given before the match begins. If Canada is an underdog, get a greater discount on your buy-in!

Discounted buy-ins will be reflected in the amounts in each tournament’s prize pool. This also applies towards tickets used for entry.

During the Match

Once registered you will not be able to unregister from the tournament.

Odds will be updated in real-time, and buy-ins will change accordingly. Discounted match buy-ins are available until the final whistle blows!  

You can see which team each player has chosen by the flags over their player icons.

Pre-Start Match Buy-In

Discounts will be applied based on the odds before the match begins.

Post-Start Match Buy-In

As the match progresses, odds will be updated to reflect the current results.

After the Match Ends

Win or draw, you will continue on through to the next round, and the tournament will continue on as a normal NLH Tournament.

However, if your team loses, you will be knocked out of the tournament. If all the remaining players are knocked out at once, ranking will be decided by chip stack upon knockout.

The match will be considered finished at the end of regulation, and discounted buy-ins will no longer be available. Overtime or penalty shoot-outs will not be taken into account. 

Elimination

Regardless of how many chips you have, if your team loses, you will be eliminated from the tournament when the match ends. 

However, after the match ends it is possible to re-enter the tournament with a normal buy-in.

Where can I find the games?

Bet & Go tournaments will be listed in the client with a special event plate in the tournament lobby.

Will other events be included?

Only the largest world-wide sporting events will be included in Bet & Go.
If there’s a major event coming up, check the client or our Social Media for any announcements!

Terms & Conditions

• Players must be aged 19 and above to participate in this series.
• All dollar ($, C$, and T$) amounts are in Canadian dollar currency (CAD).
• Bet & Go tickets for each match (discounted buy-in tickets) can only be used before the match/tournament starts.
• You cannot do a regular buy-in until the match has ended.
• Registration after the match cannot receive a match discount and must pay full price.
• Odds can be changed at any time until the end of the game, and the odds will be set manually.
• If a match is postponed, the tournament will likewise be postponed.
• If a match is canceled, the tournament will likewise be canceled.
• When a tournament is canceled, each player's buy-in amount will be returned as a refund.
• If any players fall under suspicion of fraudulent activity, WSOP.ca has the right to investigate and remove the players once it’s confirmed.
